There are safety tips for when using herbs such as not using them when pregnant, not taking too much, and be sure to be educated about the herbs you plan to take and what they are used for. There are descriptions of many herbs such as rosemary, mint, and sage. There are many herbal recipes that you can make yourself such as herbal teas, decoctions, popsicles, baths, infusions, and more. There are common ailments about what herbs to use. Such as for hay fever, a recipe with elderflower. There are reasons herbs can be great for healing and be less costly and safer to use than drugs. There’s a list of five herbs to use to have a healthy long life including ginseng and cloves. There is also a lot of information about collecting, growing, and preparing your own herbs- including how to handle them, a list of top herbs for your garden, and how to store them. There’s information about foraging, which is sourcing and gathering edible foods from nature. I liked that there are remedies for children as well. This 9 book series is the Bible of herbal remedies. This series refers to many medicinal plants and herbs to heal many ailments. It explains where to find the plants and herbs, how to grow them, how to store them and so much more. This series also provides recipes for certain ailments. The way I feel everyone has a choice to how they are treated for certain ailments.
